Fostering Sustainability helps clients take a comprehensive approach to developing environmental sustainability action plans that incorporate environmental, social and economic considerations. Services are customized to suit the needs and culture of the educational institution.
SERVICES:
- Campus sustainability assessments to determine baseline conditions, to benchmark environmental performance and identify opportunities for reducing environmental impacts.
- Recommended goals and action plans with measurable outcomes andand indicators to track progress going forward.
- Develop a sustainability “report card” that can be updated and
reviewed annually.
- Engage and educate the College community in conservation and demand management practices aimed at reducing the College’s overall ecological footprint.
- Identify opportunities for transforming the College’s campi into learning laboratories for demonstration of sustainable technologies.
- Support faculty in developing curricula to prepare students with skills required to tackle the challenges of a sustainable society.
