Fostering Sustainability provides a variety of services to help clients take a systems approach to develop sustainability strategies that take consider environmental, social and economic considerations, such as:
Carry out a campus sustainability assessment review to determine baseline conditions and opportunities for reducing environmental impacts.
Recommend goals and action plans with measurable outcomes and indicators to track progress going forward.
Developing a sustainability “report card” that can be updated and reviewed annually.
Help clients understand the environmental, social and economic benefits of being more sustainable.
Engage and educate the College community in conservation and demand management practices aimed at reducing the College’s overall ecological footprint.
Identify opportunities for transforming the College’s campi into learning laboratories for demonstration of sustainable technologies.
Support faculty in developing curricula to prepare students with skills required to tackle the challenges of a sustainable society.
